This is a chart that I keep for each of my does to be able to look back on each of their litters. It lets you see at a glance how many kits your doe has produced that you’ve kept, the sexes she’s produced with different bucks, and the number of kits that survive to weaning.
The due date is calculated at 31 days past the mating date, the weaning date is for 6 weeks, and the cull date is for 12 weeks.
I keep notes based on the age of the litter for my does. As you can see below, with Hart’s chart, there was an incident where the babies escaped the nest box earlier than I expected and I found one in trouble (don’t worry, he/she recovered). But I can note that here to have record of that in case one of the kits show an issue in the future, and I can see that it came up when the litter was 1 week 4 days old.
