This chart is how I keep track of the weight of all of my rabbits who are currently growing up in the rabbitry. This helps me keep track of not only how much each individual rabbit weighs but also who I’m thinking of keeping in the herd, selling, or culling for meat. After a litter has reached their cull date and anyone who’s not fit for selling or keeping is processed, I print a copy of the sheet to keep in their dam’s record as well so I know how big her babies were (I manually write in weights for anyone I’m keeping from there).
The weights listed under each week heading are from the amazing MeatRabbits.org’s meat rabbit weight chart. The ones I have on the list are in pounds (lbs) but she has pounds and ounces, as well as a metric version, available on her website. The first weight is considered a good rate of growth, then a very good rate, and finally an excellent rate of growth. This way, you can see where your rabbits are performing at right away while you record their weights.
I’ve spoken highly about her YouTube channel in the past, but her website is just as helpful, and I’d highly recommend checking out her chart here: MeatRabbits.org Weight Chart / MeatRabbits.org METRIC Weight Chart
I hope that you find this weight tracker helpful as you raise your own rabbits!
