Lately I have been needing to temporarily downsize my rabbitry due to other demands in my personal life, so I had thought long and hard about exactly how I wanted to do that. I came to the conclusion that I would prefer to focus on only one breed at a time. I have decided to focus on my Champagne d’Argent rabbits.

My Champagnes were my original “argente” rabbit, and they are the breed that I prefer to show. They seemed like the logical choice for me right now because of this.
I will continue to dabble in both Dutch for my son, as well as a small number of Argente Saint Hubert rabbits. These will be few in number for now, but still sticking around. I have kept my favorite Creme d’Argent rabbit, Twinkie, for this purpose.

My Creme d’Argent rabbits I had all went to amazing homes, however! I was able to give them all to some of my great friends, so if/when I want to get back into the breed in the future, it will be very easy for me.
Scotty and Adonis both went to Vicki at Roberts Rabbitry Homestead and will massively help her Creme d’Argent program there.
Kai Opaka went to Stacy at Hiser’s House of Hops and is helping to begin her new Creme d’Argent program.
Leia and some of my juniors went to another personal friend, and I know they’ll be well taken care of there.
I love Creme d’Argent rabbits, and I hope to have them again in the future when I can expand my rabbitry once again!
