Scotty is a very personable little buck with an interesting history for one so young! I believe that he was either overgroomed as a kit, or was simply born without a tail. He has barely a tiny little nub of a tail! I don’t recall ever seeing an injured kit at all, but it’s possible I could have missed it. Either way, his confirmation is looking very nice so far, so the lack of tail shouldn’t phase him much in his life.
My husband has also taken a liking to Scotty. I was originally going to cull him for the lack of tail, but my husband believes that he is more intelligent than your average rabbit. He convinced me to at least grow Scotty out and see how he looks in the future.
I look forward to seeing how Scotty grows and how his personality develops!
